In-traffic in canteen

Today was a differently unique day, I went to meet one of the existing research collaborators and a new one too, in my field of study. The meeting went on and on for a very long time, not as planned (short and sweet) and hence it was a lunch time and was really feeling hungry. So thought of trying something at food court of that building itself. It was the food court of one of the software companies and hence spotlessly neat and clean with wide spread of offering, at very affordable price.

Due to my prolonged leg injury, I got a previlage to sit down, till the order arrived and hence a very unique chance to observe the in-traffic. Wow, I was definitely able to cluster people from IT to non-IT (HR, Accounts etc), it was awesome to observe their attire and map it to the kind of tiffin box they were carrying, (sorry) but active vs bit lazy people, very hungry vs at-ease and what not.

Some of them were eating all alone, some of them in group of two, and remaining were in good large numbers, together.

I really thought till date that only students (say at my college) make continuous noise (keep talking endlessly) but here, in the food court of the IT company, decible levels were really high and consistent. To add to that bandwagon was the continuously used hand dryers at the corner. But the best part was all of them were enjoying, (laughing-a-loud) their meals together without their mobile phones or any gadgets. Wow, it was really a thrilling and different experience to cherish.
