Fairewell memories

My today's cab driver was an अवलिया personality. The way he kept his car neatly and collection of songs, playing slightly loudly, was awesome during ride. "Cherry on Cake" was his collection had a complete song "Purani Jeans aur guitar...". OMG, I became speechless and enjoyed that song thoroughly once again. We used to sing that song during the farewell(S), when we gave it to our seniors and when we got it. In addition to that one of my classmates was a great exhaust-fan of that song and he used to play guitar and sing. Superb Golden days indeed.

It is a meaningful song, might be more suitable for my gen. Suddenly started thinking, that my kids will not like this song as they might not relate to what experiences are narrated in it. But I think today's kids have their own set of sweet memories, which I have experienced it recently prior, during and post their 10th class farewell function too. Wow.
