IVF is the current talk of the town. On the occasion of World IVF Day today, I wish to narrate my collected experiences and stories about IVF.
In this era, in the year 2021, it is believed that IVF born children are not intelligent as compared to their age-group kids who are born naturally. And to my surprise this is discussed by the group of people who are intelligent, extremely highly educated, claim themselves as vivacious readers, are / were into hardcore sports, roamed around the world etc. Wow, I was taken a back. I am not a medico professional at all but wanted to know:
- how to gauge intelligence? only by looking at the marks / salary?
- and why to gauge intelligence of others even though they are your own blood relatives?
According to me:
- everyone is just a facilitator
- everyone is born with their own fate
- everyone will do something in this world for sure
- no one can control or decide anything for self or others
- and marks / salary etc are just the numbers.
When I asked the totally opposite question to the same group of people there was no answer: what is the guarantee that the kids who are born with normal way will turn out to be intelligent always?
There are exceptions in all the cases, outliers do exist, but this is not the point of discussion. If you find someone not intelligent then what are you doing to make him / her intelligent?
These set of discussions were going on in front of many people from different age groups. Finally one physiotherapy student just gave one statement and that was so true: she said "you want baby too and everything perfect in that baby also? how can it be possible? IVF gives babies to those who are not able to conceive naturally, then people should decide, what is needed etc". Wow it was so good to see the answer from the medico student who started learning about anatomy recently. Superb.
I came across few informative URLs online who are discussing about the same thing, looks like its a talk of a town by many.
Bit difficult to have a cake and eat it also, right?
