Automobiles, especially giant buses, which transport human beings need slight change in design, I felt. Also the seat allocation in family vehicles also needs a thoughtful amend, using “Pervasive Computing” concept. Here are my reflections about it.
A well know saying about Girls include:
“Cinderella is proof that a pair of shoes can change your life.”
“I’d have to agree with the dictionary: girls before guys.”
“Girls are dads favorite”,

It is also observed that or a kind of unwritten rule followed while driving a family car, that “The lady of the house” always have a privileged seat, front passenger seat of four (or multi) wheel drive. Wife occupies seat next to husband if husband is driving, if brother is driving then sister may occupy and so on. These concepts are generally followed all across, but nothing is hard and fast. To further append to these features, how about having an interactive and inventive design of multi-wheel drive where the vehicle will not start unless and until “lady of the house (wife / daughter)” occupies front passenger seat?. Exceptions can be entered manually when grandparents / friends or any other family member travel along. Just a thought, what say???
Another thought about safety component related to drivers of giant bus: Till date, most successful designs of buses are left / right-hand drive (varies from country to country). While driving on the road, driver may come across many blind spots. To drive on roads with blind spots, it requires experience and skills along with alertness of driver, always. To avoid possible issues due to blind spots, how about proposing inventive thinking in this respect?
Here is one proposal: Shift the location of Driver’s seat to center of the driver’s cabin inside the bus.
Driver will be able to judge all details about other vehicles on road, blind spots etc by occupying central location of driver’s cabin while driving. The entire engine design may need relocation, shift, or so on, but this may add value(s), safety not only to the driver but also to all travelers and customers.
Of course driver will not be able to take out his / her hand to indicate that the bus is turning on either side as he / she will be placed far away from window. Let indicators do its assigned work, come on. The usual practice of taking out hand from the window before vehicle takes turn, “Only happens in India”.
