I had been to "Karve Women Orphanage & Stri Shikshan Sanstha" few days ago. One of my neighbors is working for them. She collects Bhaubij for those girls. I was totally surprised to see the entire area of sanstha. They have their own set of institutes starting from school to fashion technology, nursing, engineering colleagues / institutes. They also have food facility like home made on campus, prepared, served and maintained by women who learned from sanstha and who stay on campus. They also have from latest computer systems, digital boards, to water purification plant of their own. Huge bakery set up having capacity to process 1000 kgs of maida if required. Woh, truly amazing experience. I have registered my name as visiting faculty for the girls & planning to teach them computers Voluntarily.
