Today while surfing through my LinkedIn account I fortunately came across one extremely heart-touching photo as well as write-up. I was literally in tears for couple of reasons.
1) That pic itself was worth 1000 words, which made me speechless, hats off to the one who wrote it. It goes like that, there was a prof in that pic in a classroom, totally engrossed in teaching / explaining something, having a marker in one hand and tiny toddler in another hand. Surprised? right, yeah, me too.
One of the students in the class in one of the universities outside India was attending class along with her baby. After few minutes, that baby / toddler started crying a loud. And then immediately that student in a hurry was trying to walk out of the class. The class was going on in a great swing, in interesting manner, still the prof took that crying baby in his hand, to everyone surprise baby stopped crying, mom sat down and the class continued with the same grace. Wow, salutes to that prof indeed. I sincerely wish to go and meet him asap. What a wonderful soul on earth. Tiny deed but made her write on LinkedIn and made me speechless with tears in my eyes.
2) Almost all the time during my PhD meetings with my prof or visiting my university for the paper work, meetings with Dean and what not, I always traveled in a group of three. I still recollect traveling with my laptop bag (those were the days, when laptops were really heavy), two more bags of my v n v with food, water, toys, coloring books, colors and what not. So such "Barat" used to visit during all my required PhD tenure. Wow, those were the days. Many times v n v were taken care by others so well, but Yeah sometimes people scolded me soooo badly about traveling in gang of three always. There was no choice that time, and I enjoyed all that so thoroughly that no regrets absolutely. Hence I can proudly say that PhD is all becoz of v n v's great support.
While reading the narration on Linkedin, I went back to my memory lane... its full of so many stories.
