There is a different change we all are observing in our department from past few months, as we all are welcoming new recruits / faculty members. As they are new to our department and to us too, we are getting to know each other slowly and steadily.
Due to increased screen time, due to my leg's current condition and as suggested by many renowned personalities about taking breaks in between ("Traffic Control App" by Brahmakumaris is the ultimate example), I prefer to take small / tiny walks in between sessions, meetings or especially after food. Yesterday it so happened that I went out to look for a specific non-teaching staff member for some urgent work as he was not picking up his phone. So thought of combining my walk + work. Almost all on campus are already aware of my legs ka problem, my walking style too which is entirely different now and as good / slow as turtle / elephant / hippoo / etc...
Coincidentally the same new members saw me walking twice in a day, in the morning and even after lunch break and both the times they pin pointed that "Wow mam, you are so relaxed, walking, and walking so slow, good to see that". and then few more sentences. Just laughed and left it, as they are unaware of the truth and I dont want to start again the entire "Ramayan-Mahabharat".
Whatever said and done, I am thoroughly enjoying my stylish slow paced walk, as enough of running around with huge speed for so many years and due to which I never enjoyed the world of slows...
