A new ritual...

Since ages, during Navratri, especially on the 8th day, Kanya Poojan is celebrated at most places, homes and those who are following Navratri Ghat at their place, etc. 9 young girls are invited and their pooja is carried out with love and affection, followed by prasad.

This year, our Symbiosis's Chefs are going to prepare food especially for kids. These kids are special kids, they are from the villages around our university. The most unique thing is both boys and girls are invited to relish the food items especially prepared by the chefs, on campus, in a star restaurant setup.

Wow, suddenly I thought of the 8th day of Navratri, kanya poojan and this unique invitation to the kids from surrounding villages, and mapped it. Touched, really. Those kids will always remember this wonderful experience. And me too, what a thoughtful execution indeed.
