Importance of tuns and slopes....

My dad always used keep telling me multiple varied experiences he enjoyed and lived throughout his professional life. Being Civil Engineer of that golden generation, he fortunately worked on varied projects in his life starting from construction of road to dams to railway stations and what not. Those were the days to cherish and grasp everything in or related to the field of study, generally without bothering much about the specialization or super-specialization which are the "new normal" concepts today / these days.

He once asked me "why there are various turns and slopes on the road? Any idea?". He gave me the answer "generally on highways, on long routes, driver may tend to doze off and its more than dangerous to him and others co-travelers on the road, isnt it? to avoid this, Civil Engineers need to plan effectually the turns and slopes etc. while designing roads".

When I grew up (I think I did) by living with his superb words, answers, motivational cases etc. and felt the importance of combo of good bad experiences in life too.

Thereafter while writing THIS and while using word-processing softwares for years together, I felt the need and significance of having varied text formatting options other than provided by grammer, so that the reader will not doze off, as the text involves bold, italics, underline, CAPITAL, colored words etc. isnt it?

So guys and gals, keep reading with your eyes wide open and whenever here onwards you see or use these text formatting options remember this Anukatha for sure.

Happy reading.
