I felt the importance of personal-meetings once again today, with due respect
to the technology invention, innovations and ever increasing usage. It was a
beautifully and thoughtfully organized special event called "Conclave for
PhD Supervisors" at Symbiosis today, spread over the entire day. Two giant
personalities were invited who have successfully guided 60+ PhD scholars. To
live in their aura for the entire day, listening to their experiences,
learnings and what not, was the feast to my ears for sure.
According to me virtual meetings using social media sites etc. may not top
individual's energy levels which definitely happens in personal interactions.
