Hats off

Another tale from my beloved place - office bus stop

During normal days, at my bus stop, one of my colleagues used to board the bus too. Her extremely energetic son used to be the utmost entertainer on the bus stop for the entire tiny duration, every day. He is a chatter box, today's generation kid, must be around 3.5-4 years young, very smart in answering and asking questions to all, OMG. I can go on and on and on about him. As he was aware that I do not understand his native local language he used to converse with me in hindi. Jabardast.

So from past so many days rather months we are not in touch, right? He is not listening to my voice any more due to lockdown and WFH.

Today,  I called up my friend / colleague for some work in a hurry, it was a voice call, normal call, not WA call, and her son in the background started talking constantly. My friend then told me that son is saying "oh, long time I did not interact with her, she is the same who used to board the bus along with you, right mom?", what? I mean seriously. Just by listening to my voice that too very few words, immediately he caught up extremely correctly. Awesome. Wow, somebody, so what if only 4 years, but recognized my voice, is the most wonderful feeling for me. I miss meeting him too. Hope to meet him, spend time with him on the bus stop real soon. God bless him, superb sharp memory indeed.
