I was born again
today, 15 years ago. This time the rebirth was painful, difficult, challenging
but rewarding, all at the same time. With due respect to all the mothers on
this entire world, and their sacrifices, when I went through it myself,
realized its importance and toughness. Hence this write-up today. Seriously not
aware that who is the inceptor of the idea or words / statement / phrase that
“pregnancy and delivery of baby is like rebirth for that girl / new-mother….”
So true. While reading so many articles, from various domains I regularly came
across this statement. To my surprise the few of the authors of this statement
are male candidates.
Such a great privilege to all girls that they can celebrate their birthday
twice in a year, minimum; or many times as per the number of pregnancies they
went through. While discussing this concept with my daughter, she said, “no
mom, there is one more possible day to celebrate as your day, Mother’s day” and
the discussion continued. Its great to interact with her always.
I am able to celebrate my 15th parenting anniversary successfully today with
pride, because of blessing from all elders, wishes from friends and family and
consistent support from HIM. Last but not the least it was feasible only and
merely because of my better-half unswerving motivation.
