Expressing gratitude

As a part of Sahodaya and expressing gratitude towards the Army jawans, today my kids participated in unique card making activity. On the occasion of Sankranti and upcoming 26th Jan, kids made these cards. It was so nice to observe the way they prepared themselves for this card making event, by thinking about suitable colors, apt drawing and touching words. It was a great learning for me too, due to this. I was thoroughly involved in choosing colors, theme, text and what not. "Thank you" is the tiny word for Sahodaya, my kids school, and this activity.

The other aim of this activity was the global reach of involved schools, students etc. to reach a fabulous number of more than 1 lakh cards to participate in Guinness Book of World Records.

School kids are aware of what our Army Jawans go through in the actual (battle) fields, by reading in books and online, but since past two days they were able to realize the pain a bit, as they were suppose to picturize it to make a appealing card, a tiny contribution from them.
