Paint your day

Those were the days when I began working as a teacher in one of Nagpur's leading engineering colleges. "Lecturer" was the title of the post then. Teaching a large class, writing everything on the board using only chalk, and making transparencies if required were a few of the challenges then. To tackle them with huge motivation, I started practising something on a daily basis. Of course, I used to love to do that too. I am sure millions in this world are following that. This habit had nothing to do with the teaching and learning process directly, but its base was a push, self-motivation, a burning fire, etc. With every outfit, I used to apply exactly and precisely matching nail paint, in addition to taking care of home duties, preparation for the class, other hobbies, friends, meetings, parties, etc. Based on the availability of time slots, there were varied fixes, which I followed. The best solution was to remove the paint entirely and properly apply two coats. Otherwise, simply apply the same colour coat on top of the existing nail paint layer, but the best solution was to quickly apply another colour on top of the existing one, which not only provided a quick fix but also provided a completely different, unique shade that is not available or visible anywhere in the market. I used to start every day with something new because I enjoyed all of these fixes very much.

This was my way. What is your way to paint the day? Find one, keep finding one, act on it, and reap the short-, medium-, and long-term benefits, my dears. Enjoy! Have a wonderful day and days ahead.
