I guess our smartest forefathers, with lots of thinking and foresight, suggested various religions. This division could be because of equal classification of work, labour, respect, and to prove that all occupations are important. With due respect to all religions, I am writing this as I heard the most uniquely different experience recently. No one knows who is driving the train, bus, or flying the aircraft; a chef or cook belongs to which religion; food production is done by which category of farmer; who baked bread for you; who milked the cow for the cup of tea in your hand? Above all, we breathe air, which is a mix of everyone's breaths, coming from and going out of the bodies of living beings from different religions. Everyone in India enjoys cricket on extravagant levels; all types of games are played against all different countries, including Pakistan. We cheer on marathon runners too. With all these tiny facts and figures, background, truths, and basic science, I was thrilled to know a resident of a Muslim-led city for ages is objecting to pronouncing a non-Marathi name for kids at home as a pet name or nice name, used very casually. Wow.
