2243: Back to basics


I love the concept of the bell curve. Ever since I learned about its shape, its formulation, and what it tries to depict, I have been fascinated by it. Hats off to the creator of this concept.

With a lot of free time on my hands and enjoying my "Weekend Forever," literally a new YouTube video stood in front of me and I was captivated by it from beginning to end, due to multiple reasons: the podcast brand's name, the thumbnail, and the topic of discussion itself.

I love to go back to my school days in my mind. I often "visit" my old classroom, those benches, the blackboard, the huge ground, my classmates, and our simple, delicious tiffin. This video added another reason for me to stay there longer, in a simulated, visualized way. Those were awesome days, completely relaxed, full of fun and joy. For me, and I'm sure for many others, it was a time of continuously dreaming about happy things. Negativity never touched me back then; to be frank, I wasn't even aware it existed. But as we climb higher steps in life, in all senses, we get surrounded by unwanted things.

This video helped me come back to basics. The speaker powerfully suggested pronouncing the basic Marathi alphabets loudly and methodically. As per her research, chanting them twice daily can help activate every cell in the body, to overcome minor pains and health issues. What a simple yet terrific technique! The moment you start, you can feel almost every crucial part of your body getting involved. The results are mesmerizing as it takes you back to your school uniform, those benches, fun and group chanting. It's truly nostalgic.

Connect with the speaker and try it yourself. After climbing that high peak, it feels good to come back to basics, doesn't it?
