2379: A Full Circle of Excellence: SCRI PhD Induction 2026

A huge thank you to SCRI (Symbiosis Centre for Research and Innovation) for always thinking differently and ensuring every PhD Induction is truly unique and impactful for the new breed of researchers. This year’s program was truly mesmerizing the "cherry on the cake" in every sense.

From 2013 to 2023, I never missed this thoughtfully designed induction. I have always loved listening to the global "who's who" of researchers and storytellers. The motivation these speakers provide to new scholars and guides is simply out of this world.

This year, SCRI did something truly special: they invited prestigious alumni (I think for the first time)  to converse with the newcomers. One of those chosen was Prof. Dr. Archana Chaudhari and she truly nailed it. Archana’s PhD journey was more than outstanding, marked by multiple papers, grants from giants like Microsoft, a research presentation in the capital of the USA, patents, and book chapters. Her list of achievements is endless, so it is no wonder SCRI selected her to lead this conversation.

I am extremely proud of her. Watching her journey from a novice to a successful SRF, and now to a PhD Guide herself, fills my heart with joy. HIS abundant blessings have been with her and will continue to shower upon her forever. Amen.

My thanks to SCRI, with a special mention to Prof. Dr Pohekar Sir and SIU. While I missed attending in person, had I known she was speaking, I would have been the most enthusiastic member of the audience clapping with tears of joy. I am certain the entire audience benefited immensely from her words.
