I guess the back sack was thought about and designed so that the users both hands and palms will remain empty or free. These empty palms are useful to have a proper grip in the running bus, while getting up/down from the bus etc. But since mushrooming of mobile phones happened irrespective of how large or well equipped sack / purse especially the girls carry the mobile remains the new ornament (as if) in their palm only, without fail, no matter what. The other counterparts boys are not far behind. While climbing up / down the bus for example, people used to make BEST use of their fingers for holding the bars etc. but now a tiny new ornament is added in the same palm, from these new-normal days. OMG, now the so-called face-mask has shifted its place from face to neck to ear and is now hanging in hand. So out of five basic fingers, two were assigned the duty of mobile grip, 3 were for holding the bar in bus or any other place, out of which now one is given additional responsibility of holding face mask too. What a scene indeed. Horrible. In spite of consistent commercials, interesting media coverage in all possible languages, cartoons, celebs talk and what not people here are holding on to their unique habits.
