"Change of work is rest..."

This was one of the most favorite statements of my dad. He used to use it always and ofcourse lived with it too.

I guess everyone is so well equipped to locate change and keep hopping frequently. Let me explain. From past one month or so, we are experiencing huge rains in Pune, and hence the few plants / pots in my house were growing discolored leaves. Everyday, while leaving the house for office and while entering back in the house every evening I used to feel maintaining those trees, but I was lazy. Today's day started on such a sparkling note with great enthusiasm that I was trying to communicate with those plants and leaves. While doing so, enjoyed fragrance of (budding) flowers who are trying to capture sun-rays and live by spreading joys. And I was able to finish and fit the work in tiny little time available with me this morning and feeling sooooo happy about it.

I should not give reasons and try to find time to do varied things in future, to maintain smile on my face always, to take care of my enthusiasm and to live up to the above statement which is working for me as a panacea.

Wrote this last year in Aug'2020, but its so true even today.

Monsoon preparation started in my front yard and I am trying my hands along now in this lock-down situation to move / shift / relocate some tree pots here and there etc. Increased screen time is giving huge amount of neck and upper back pain which is not going in spite of daily yoga regime, but by working in my front yard, it feels wonderful, no pain at all, fresh.
