Difference between Gossip and Gappa (Discussion / conversation / communication / chat / colloquy)

Gappa is primarily a popular Marathi word, which is so therapeutic. Felt like sharing few of my observation points between these two words.

Even though both words starts from alphabet "G" there is a huge difference and with extreme ends of positives and negatives. Positive and negative includes topics, people with whom you are conversing and people who are involved or topic of discussion etc. There is absolutely no limit to gappa as they may vary as the new interesting topic pops up. But gossip is restricted to a specific person or situation or observation wherein involved people talk consistently only about it using mostly wrong words. Gappa involved laughter and sharing past / great memories or experiences which in turn becomes memorable but gossip unnecessarily spread wrong or bad vibrations. Gappa come n go as they have increased the good hormones and hence used in remaining day's chores but gossip stays at the back of mind almost forever.

Also to gossip, involved people look for the absent guy or a girl and they kick start about him / her instantly. This is not the case with gappa. To gossip people work consistently to gather and observe wrong deeds of others at the same time to involve in gappa essentially all good points pop up about place, food, incidence and what not.

I was really surprised when I have observed many who are extremely highly qualified personalities who were a English medium students and primarily maharashtrians but still totally not aware of the difference between these two words.
