The entire 15 years scrolled infront of
my eyes today and I am sure this must be the same situation with all parents,
especially mothers, when I dropped V n V finally at the gate of the center for
board exams. As if everything happened yesterday, since the day of their birth
to this day, I was literally in tears. Even though it (my kids appearing for
their first ever 10th board exams) is just the first tiny little
step, but kind of distinctly important for me.
One of their fav teachers was standing at the gate of the center to Welcome and
bless all her bacchas. One of the senior volunteer girls from our school was
standing inside the center to tick the number of students when they arrived.
What a tiny but good thought and deed. Touched.
This morning my daughter said, you know what mom, how I am feeling right now,
its exactly like:
"तुम
पास
आये, यूँ
मुस्कुराये
तुमने न जाने क्या सपने दिखाये
अब तो मेरा दिल, जागे न सोता है
क्या करूँ हाय, कुछ
कुछ
होता है ..."
OMG, its awesome to be with our bachhas always, at every stage. Too good.
