During my last trip / visit to USA for work on one of the jets they offered few snacks packets. Due to long journey I was hungry and hence opened that tiny packet immediately and it was a time-pass activity too for me. In that snacks packet there was some eatable, look alike of chips, or in shape of chips but in Dark Purple color. Never seen before, I was really curious and amazed with the taste, it was mind blowing indeed. The moment I got down from that plane, I could not resist myself and purchased many such packets for my kids at home in India.
Oh man, even kids had fun, enjoyed this new colorful flavor (which was baked, not fried) for the first time in their life too, so much so that thereafter for many times my son used to say "mamma lets go to USA to buy those purple chips". OMG.
Then I immediately wrote about it on FB too, and before writing surfed through net to know more about it and found that they are the most healthy variety of potato chips, made from purple colored potato itself. Also came to know that there are many types of or colors of potatoes available.
Hope the commercial organizations will focus on all the varieties of potatoes and we will get to eat such colorful chips soon regularly.
Today ordered few flavors of snacks, chips, kurkure etc. for all of us to much in between sometimes and suddenly recollected about this healthiest version of chips. Hence this write-up.
