Its me

Every day, or almost every day, my friend and I used to drive to work together. I'm not sure why, but we used to shake hands rather hold hands every day and then chit-chat before getting in the car to drive to our workplace. And we used to grasp our hands unconsciously for a long time while welcoming / chitchatting at that time.

So today, when traveling alone to work without her, as she is now with a different organization, I felt like writing to her, "Missing holding hands," and I was planned to include the emoji of holding hands as well as a sobbing emoji.

But, after reading this message and before pressing the "send" button, I changed my mind.  This isn't me, I reassured myself.

So I reconsidered and typed, "Reached my office without holding hands," followed by the holding hands emoji. But, on the other hand, I had the distinct impression that this was not me.

So, what's next?

I tried again, and this time I came up with "Driving to my office while recalling the all-beautiful moments, laughs, those eye contacts, jokes, etc. that we enjoyed together while holding hands...", as well as the holding hands emoji, smilewala emoji, and so on, and I knew it was me.

This is, without a doubt, the best use of active-passive voice or looking at the other side of the coin.
