My ears became truly speechless today as they heard so much, with an enormously consistent musical retreat. This retreat started at around 8 a.m. and has continued until now, for almost 11 hours or so. There is one club near my house; they started their play list at around 8 a.m. and continued until 5 p.m. at the loudest possible volume. Simultaneously, bits and pieces from surrounding societies added layers and colours to this musical extravaganza today.
A) I was not aware that we are so rich on the music front and have so many remixes.
B) Many individuals have restrictions and inhibitions about attending classes at a college for a few hours at a stretch, meeting for longer durations, participating in development programs for a day or two, but for continuous dancing, standing, shouting loudly, listening to the loudest playlist, etc., there is huge energy, interest, and willingness.
According to me, there should be a self-imposed limit to such events, not given by a municipal corporation, the police, or society, for example, an hour or two max, as there are newborns, senior citizens, pets, and other living beings around. Think and act, kindly relook at holi celebrations, is the sincere request.
