I always wished to and, till date, have maintained certain levels in many ways. A couple of examples of such maintenance are given here.
Even if I have a branded and the latest mobile phone, I am aware that the battery will last for so many hours or days, but I still prefer not to go below 50%. My habit—what else? I wish to always be safe and charged up for the most preferred or needed gadget.
Likewise, in my four-wheeler, even though I am completely aware of the concept of reserve and the capacity of the petrol tank and I thoroughly know my own car, I still chose to, or am in favour of, keeping petrol levels higher than 100, always.
I precisely know when to refill my two buddies and have followed it religiously for years now. Everything will be fine if the levels go down below 50 or 100, but it never happened. Automatic charging always happens. So to date, along with the routine of my office work, I have followed the timetable of these refills too, very happily.
My kids laugh out loud by looking at these habits, as they are, and this new generation is used to 1% charge also.
