"Yesterday, while not paying attention, multitasking, driven by the noise and habit of my mobile phone I knocked over the glass of buttermilk in my hand. What happened next is obvious. I had just bought a brand-new, thick blanket, a heavy-duty preparation for the coming winter. The company claimed it was immensely warm. Surprisingly, it felt as light as cotton when I handled it.
That new blanket was the victim of the spilled buttermilk. Chaos ensued. In my frenzy, instead of just cleaning the corner where the buttermilk fell, I dunked the entire blanket into a bucket of water. Naturally, the whole bathroom got messy, and this morning, I realized exactly why my arms and shoulders hurt.
That soaked blanket couldn't be lifted, wrung out, or washed. I was completely exhausted; it drove me crazy.
Then the lightbulb went on (The idea struck me)! I quickly wrung the blanket out in small sections, ran it straight to the washing machine, and gave it instant orders to wash and spin dry. The machine obeyed, and within minutes, the perfectly washed and dried blanket, restored to its lightness, was in my hands, bringing a smile to my face."
What did this experience teach me?
Fundamentally, we are all light as cotton (originally born light weight, literally). But then, little by little, we invite and accumulate stress, useless thoughts, and soak ourselves in unnecessary things until we feel this immense heaviness. Once the burden becomes overwhelming, we start seeking solutions: How do we reduce or shed this weight?
So, friends, either quickly find an ultra-modern 'Washing Machine' standing right in front of you, a solution that will restore you to your original, light state or simply clean just the damaged corner instantly, so the heaviness never gets a chance to set in. You are smart, and the world demands smartness, so why not adopt smart methods?
Let's resolve to clean just one corner (at thought's level) when the need arises and commune with the kites, birds, wind, and butterflies. The entire sky is calling out to us; this journey is limitless. Let us go forth!
