2421: Small Practice, Subtle Power

We often rely on prayers and chants for peace and strength. But have we ever noticed that they don’t always cover the full range of sounds our language offers?

Some researchers and practitioners suggest that consciously pronouncing the entire alphabet / Marathi Varnamala, with rhythm and awareness, may have a deeper effect on our system. Not just mentally, but vibrationally.

There is also a belief, supported by traditional understanding and observations, that when the full range of sounds is voiced, dormant or less active cells in the body may get stimulated and rejuvenated. And this is not limited to humans. It extends to all living beings.

Sound travels. It influences the space around us. What we speak may quietly touch people, plants, and other forms of life in ways we may not fully understand.

We often say love is in the air. Perhaps healing is too.

At some point, knowingly or unknowingly, we have all benefited from someone else’s prayers, intentions, or positive energy.

Now it is our turn to give back.

To refill that same space with something meaningful.

Because in the end, everything works on a simple principle of give and take.

So along with your daily practices, take a few minutes to mindfully recite the alphabet / Marathi Varnamala. Not as a routine, but as a conscious act.
