I was at Sakal's office this beautiful morning along with one of my PhD
scholars. What a giant building it is, constructed long ago, huge. It was my
first time to visit any news paper office. The occasion was such that my PhD
scholar grabbed the "Sakal India Foundation's" research fellowship
today. Its a very tiny amount though but very motivational indeed, as our
research work is recognised from the outsider. The process we competed and got
through was awesome.
The team of this foundation is so learned and informative that we were really
surprised to see their involvement in the entire process, even though the
applications received were purely technical and staff is just the part of
Sakal's team.
Looking forward to meet and interact with the head of this foundation in near
future. He underwent surgery recently and hence was on leave today. Wish him
speedy recovery.
