During today's musical program the anchor
did mention about one of the meanings of name "Radha". He said
"Dhara" is associated with flow of river water. In those days, ages
ago, Radha, the only friend of Lord Krishna behaved against the flow of water
and hence her name is Radha राधा, opposite Dhara धारा, in Marathi / Hindi language script / style-of-writing. She was the
only one who achieved this going against the flow, most successfully. Wow, I
was completely unaware of this. So true.
The theme of todays program was "Ek Radha.... Ek Mira".
Another important concept which was discussed by anchor: notice how we pronounce always the names of Gods and Goddess, "Shiv
Parvati", "Vishnu Laxmi", "Ram Sita", etc. where HIS
name appears first but only in the pair "Radha Krishna", Her name
appears before Lord Krishna. Nice to know, this early morning, no wonder anchor
drives the entire program, effectually, thoughtful and researchful indeed.
I sincerely believe that combination of singing classical music, performing
homa / pooja / rituals, chanting mantras at every spiritual places, temples, in
few homes, morning and evening etc. creates very healthy vibrations which are
useful for all individuals in particular, man-kind, all living beings,
including birds, trees, society in general and what not. Wonderful program
indeed.
