वातावरण निर्मिती....

प्रकर्षाने बघितलं तर बाहेरील देशात जर अगदी लहान मुलाला, म्हणजे ५-६ महिने किंवा वर्षाच्या आतल्या बाळाला जर लस द्यायची असेल तर आधी डॉक्टर त्याच्या बरोबर खेळतात, खेळण्याकरता त्यांच्या कडे खेळणी असतात आणि मुख्य म्हणजे आवड असते. आणि खेळीमेळीत कधी इन्जेक्शन दिल जात हे कळत देखील नाही. काय भन्नाट आहे नाही हे सगळं. मला तर फा$$$$र मनापासून आवडतं.

आमच्या वरती बिल्डिंग मधे एक आजी येतात स्वयंपाक करायला, काटेकोर पणे वेळ पाळत आणि त्या आल्या कि आधी चहा करणार, मग संपूर्ण ओटा साफ करणार आणि त्याच ठरवणार काय करायचं ते, काल झालं नाही ते, काय सामान उपलब्ध आहे ते ई. बघून.  चहा पिल्याशिवाय आणि ओटा साफ केल्याशिवाय त्यांचं पान हालत नाहीच. स्वच्छ ओटा बघितला कि त्यांना हुरूप येतो आणि झक्कास स्वयंपाक करतात.

योग किंवा अजून कुठलाही व्यायाम करण्या आधी  स्ट्रेचिंग व्यायाम करतात, तय्यारी करतात, कोणी गाणी किंवा संगीत सुरु ठेवतात. ध्यान करण्याआधी शिथिलतेवर भर द्यावा लागतो, स्वाशावर लक्ष केंद्रित करावे  लागते, सुगंधी उदबत्ती किंवा अगदी शांत संगीत सुरु करतात ई. शिक्षक शिकवायला सुरु करण्या आधी उजळणी घेतात, गप्पा मारतात, प्रेरणा देणाऱ्या आणि उपयुक्त अश्या छोट्या गोष्टी सांगतात. देवा...

माझ्या दृष्टीने  वरील नमूद केलेले सर्व उदाहरणं हे "वातावरण निर्मिती" चे आहेत आणि अशी असंख्य अजून असतील. आणि हि सर्व उदाहरणं हे दर्शवतात कि "वातावरण निर्मिती" हि एक कला आहे. आणि सगळ्याच क्षेत्रात / प्रांतात वातावरण निर्मिती झाल्याखेरीज पर्याय नसतो किंबहुना काम दर्जाचं, सहज-सुलभ होत नाही. आज मी ह्या विषयावर का बोलते आहे?, कारण सोप्प आहे, अगदी रोजच म्हटलं तर वावगं ठरणार नाही, पण असे असंख्य प्रयोग करत राहावे लागतात अनेक जणांसाठी. म्हणून सहज वाटलं लिहावं.

परीक्षा आणि पहाटे उठणं ...

आज माझ्या लेकीची परीक्षा होती त्यामुळे मला कालच सांगण्यात आले कि "उद्या सकाळी लवकर उठव, तू उठलीस कि, साधारण सहा वाजता किंवा लवकरच...". 

"पडत्या फळाची आज्ञा," मला हे सहज शक्य होत आणि गजर असतोच माझा त्यानुसार आधी मी उठले, आटोपलं आणि मग म्हटलं तिला मिस्ड कॉल द्यावा, तसेच केले, मग उठल्या बाई साहेब. थोडेसे लाड झाल्यावर म्हटलं बैस मी चहा करते दोघींसाठी म्हणजे तू अभ्यासाला लाग मी कामाला. भन्नाट चविष्ट चवदार मसालेदार चहा दोघी माय लेकींनी एन्जॉय केला. तेव्हाच पुन्हा एकदा मला माझ्या दिवसांची आणि माझ्या बाबांची आठवण झाल्याशिवाय राहवलं नाहीच. 

मी अशीच माझ्या बाबांना सांगून झोपत असे, ते साधारण एक तास आधीच गजर लावत असतं, मग उठून त्यांचं आवरायचे पहिल्यांदा आणि मग मला उठवायला यायचे. मिस्ड कॉल ची पद्धत नव्हती न त्या वेळी. त्यामुळे अगदी प्रेमाने उठवायचे आणि मी "अजून पा$$$$$च मिनिट फक्त बाबा..." असं म्हणून पुन्हा गुडूप. मग ते हि माझ्यावर छान पांघरूण घालून जायचे आणि यायचे पुन्हा दहा मिनिटाने. माझे पाढे पंचावन्न, तेच. मग मात्र काही वेळानी ते शस्त्र काढायचे आणि मी उठले रे उठले कि दोन-तीन कप चहा आणि कॉफि चे घेऊन यायचे. म्हणायचे जे हवं ते पी. बाकी मी आहेच. अभ्यास मस्त होऊ दे, बरं का? आणि स्वतः जागे राहायचे, काही तरी लिखाण करायचे, वाचायचे ई. 

का आणि कुठे गेले ते दिवस आणि माझे बाबा? हा सदा अनुत्तरीत प्रश्न ठेऊन... आता पुढचं लिहिणं अवघड आहे, डोळे भरलेत, स्क्रीन दिसत नाही आहे...

आज सकाळ पासूनच हि श्री. भा. रा. तांबेंची कविता जी आदरणीय फैय्याज ह्यांच्या स्वरात रेकॉर्ड केली आहे ती आठवली,  सतत काम करतांना गुणगुणली गेली देखील. का? अजिबात माहित नाही? 

१. ह्या वरून मला काही सुचलं, म्हटलं लिहावं. 

२. आदरणीय फैय्याज ह्यांच्या बरोबर मला चक्क ४ तास गप्पा मारायला मिळाले होते २०१० साली. माझ्या सारखी लकी मीच. आम्ही दोघीनी अगदी शेजारी बसत लकीली मुंबई ते पुणे एकत्र प्रवास केला होता. अहाहा काय काय अनुभव ऐकायला मिळाले म्हणून सांगते. उतरायची वेळ कधी आली ते देखील समजले नाही. एकत्र चहा पण घेतला आम्ही. शेवटी उतरायच्या वेळेला त्यांचा आशीर्वाद घेतला, सही घेतली आणि कृतार्थ झाले.

ह्या कवितेवर आधारित मला सुचलेले शब्द असे:

या पायां नो, या रे या !
लवकर भरभर दोघे या !

मजा करा रे मजा करा !
आज दिवस तुमचा समजा
स्वस्थ बसे तोचि फसे;
नवभूमी दाविन मी, (नवभूमी = रोज चे ऑफिस मधले, ऑफिस ला जाणे हे हि चॅलेंजे च)
या घराला लागुनिया
सुंदर ती दुसरी दुनिया ! (दुसरी = ऑफिस ची / विद्यार्थ्यांची / शिक्षणाची दुनिया)

Me & My Friend Sanitizer

This is about in 2001 I guess when I was introduced to this ultra useful stuff called Sanitizer and since then religiously I was using it, rather in USA at various places it was a mandate to use. We the Indians have the habit or was aware of washing hands with soap and thats the definition of cleanliness for us. But at every place and every location water-soap combo is not available and hence sanitizer is the best replacement. We started using it regularly since then. Especially in my Michigan university too, at gym, for equipment's it was a definite rule to clean the equipment after every use, with your napkin / paper napkin or sanitizer. 

My tiny-tot when they started going to school their school bag always had sanitizer and in my purse too. Few of my foreign returned friends too were using sanitizer very regularly. 

In my Dean's office, from 2013 onwards I have observed the regular use of sanitizer and it was a wonderful and most useful habit which was learned due to their frequent visits to USA.

But then all of a sudden for no reason or as kids grew up slowly the good habit of cleanliness went off / vanished in thin air. Once again now its back with a bang so much so that even the anti-virus and other services in laptops and other devices after downloading the file indicates that "file is carefully sanitized".

I hope to use it (I will be with my friend sanitizer) and follow other recommendations always in future too, safety first for me and us too.

Windshield & it protective original purpose

 I always bow down in front of the statue of respected Shri Shivaji Maharaj, I always was thrilled to hear his bravery-filled stories and millions of salutes to his work and courage. And it will remain so forever. I am definitely do not have rights to write about him and his personality as it cannot be captured in words for sure. Recently his jayanti / birthday was celebrated all across Maharashtra. Its after-effects are still visible these days even on the roads. Hence felt like sharing with you all about it.

We are still in the month of February, summer not started yet and still all the roads are crowded with leaking water tankers of huge size. Generally (not all do it though) it is observed that the speed of water tanker is really fast even on  local city roads. Huge load / weight of water + tremendous speed and on top of that the entire windshield is covered with the poster of Shri Shivaji Maharaj jayanti program. I am truly speechless after looking at it. I was under impression that only one water tanker will have it, but no, I was completely wrong. Almost all of them are having such display. I know and I am aware that there is absolutely no hurdle (might be) for the driver's vision with this sticker on the windshield but still its dangerous, according to me. I mean I wish to know the traffic rules regarding windshield. Such things are allowed? or are there any such rules at place? Is this the way to celebrate and keep celebrating for days? I dont think so. And its not about those few tankers but others on the road including learning drivers... 

 

Education - Qualification - Applications

I am aware of one family of size 3, hubby wife n kid. Both hubby and wife were working as they are highly qualified. Wife was working even after her pregnancy and now their son is around 3 years and mam opted to be a full time mom after few months of resuming job post delivery. In the meantime hubby went ahead with even more higher qualification successfully. The other day after a long gap, I met and interacted with mam and tiny-tot for a very short duration. Thereafter when I met sir and generally asked about how is mam and their son doing, as I was not able to spend more time with them during our short meeting. My question was "what is mam upto these days?" and boom the answer came immediately without wasting any time "nothing, she is doing nothing since years, just taking care of baby full time". I was not even shocked to hear this answer from an extremely learned person about his own wife, I mean he must have just said it casually or he never mean anything else, and even I am not taking it in wrong sense as I am totally aware of why girls are given the responsibility by the nature to becomes moms instead of men. Its a huge responsibility and 24X7 job. 

During my pregnancy and when we both "would be parents" were attending parenting sessions, workshops etc. even that time also the trainers used to tell us never use negative words or recollect the lessons in English in school about active-passive voice and apply them now while conversing with your kid(s). Even while crafting my PhD thesis and journal papers my guide also emphasized on utilizing active-passive voice regularly to avoid negative statements in text. I am continuing giving the same advice to my PhD scholars too. 

So why not this hubby apply these simple concepts and say that my wify is working full time bringing up our child in healthier environment. This would have reflected his personality and fatherhood in better manner. According to me utilizing & applying concepts learned during education and qualification is utmost important in every day life, which is generally missing I feel. Hope things will change in near future and we will see a more healthier and brighter world soon.

Display-pic or profile-pic = DP

It is just a picture, displaying next to the individual's name / number etc. on social media accounts. These social media accounts can be and are used as combo personal+professional. To be honest it should not be the combo at all. Right? Yeah, on personal account the individual is free to do what he / she would love to do, but cannot replicate the same for professional communications at all. But hardly few understand this. It is observed that there are two categories of people one who keeps dp the others obviously empty pic. God knows the reason behind both these categories. Those who wish to keep dp may maintain a natural scene, dog, animal, bird or anything they like. There are many researchers and especially psychologist who are working hard to understand the reasons behind a. using combo account b. constantly or not changing dp at all c. never displaying / revealing name instead special characters or nothing is used. DP or name on a social media account is primarily to reach you instantly, in case of emergency or to contact you if need be. Yeah these days its not true. I wish to request all sincerely that maintain two separate accounts, the current mobile device has given the facility to have multiple SIMs. Do whatever on personal but no combo please. Its beyond irritating and serves no one.

These are only my comments and views which are totally personal to me. But its better to be professional according to me. Or if you still wish to have a combo then have your own photo in dp with the proper name of profile. Even if an individual wishes to change the dp again go for his / her photo only clicked using / following all professional norms..

It was way back in 2006 when "Hello Tunes" were introduced. OMG. Everyone almost who again had this habit of combo used to choose a song on mobile number used for official purposes too. Nope, don't please.
